Next week we will start through the alphabet of chronic Illnesses. Starting with Aids and HIV

From August 13 - 18 in Toronto Canada the 10th world conference was held on Aids. There were over 20,000 top scientists, specialists, journalists and political leaders from 170 countries around the world. They were gathered to raise awareness of the 40 million people around the world who suffer from Aids or HIV.

This was one of the most valuable gatherings for the delivery of news and discussions on key scientific data and progress in the fight against HIV and Aids. It was also a chance for people to come together and react to the epidemic by telling their encounters with the disease.

How Aids day was observed:-

• Aids Day was observe with marches world wide.

• At the same time the UN called for "exceptional response" to fight AIDS

• The studies discussed strengthened the case for more Aids therapy in Haiti

Next week we will take a look at the facts and figures and results of that conference, along with some updates on care, and medications and other medical improvements.

We will also show how our youth can prevent the growth of aids world wide through prevention and proven and accessible technologies.
